Restorations

At Crazyquiffs we can restore any Mk1 Golf to an as new condition. From mechnical, engine and brakes to body work and trim, cab roofs and headliners etc. We have a great pool of parts and know Mk1 golfs inside and out so we can get it just right.

We refurbish and use as many original part as possible. Using re-zincing, recoating and vapour cleaning we can get components back to as new condition and performing correctly.

We carry out most work during the resto except specialist coating, retrimming and body paintwork. Inthis case we act as your quality control taking the guesswork and hassle out of it and make sure everything is right for the build.

A work programme and budget is provided before work starts and full photo journal is provided via Google drive so you can see progress as we go. We request payments at stage milestones as the project progresses with a final payment on collection. We always encourage owners to vist and check progress.

We are happy to carry out work in phases to fit your budget and timings as required. To date we have restored and number of Mk1's from GTIs to small block cars. Currently being worked on are;
